Product Description

Beth Morgan is a young woman who’s just been given the ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity to meet her favorite band, Traveler. That meeting leads to a chance encounter with her idol, the band’s lead singer, Andy Stevens.
What follows is a love story. A journey through the peaks, valleys and trials of a relationship lived in the public eye; the miles they traveled together through his career in the music business, and her struggles to stay obscure in a world she never really settled into comfortably. In the end it's all about love, fate, and what the heart can't hold back.

About the Author

Barbara Stewart (1959 - ) was born in Baltimore, MD, and grew up in Pennsylvania, and the central east coast of Florida. She resides in the Jacksonville, FL area with her husband Gene and their fat cat, Kooky. She has worked in the electronics industry, and most recently in health-care. Barbara is a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, winning the Hope Award for volunteerism in 2009. Her favorite musicians and songs brought on the “rock and roll fantasies” in her work. Sprinkled through her stories are humor and sadness based on experiences shared with family and friends. Those who have read her stories, and know her, tell her they 'see and feel' her experiences with them in the words on the pages. Sweet Surrender (February 2012) was her first published book, and came from a challenge for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo ~ November 2011). Rock and Roll Never Forgets, her next/first book, came to life in 2003 when Andy woke her in the middle of the night and said “I’ve got a story you need to write!” Book Two of the Rock and Roll Trilogy – When I Look to the Sky- will be ready for release in the spring of 2013. 5.0 out of 5 stars Amazingly, beautiful, heart breaking book! 16 Aug 2013

Rock and Roll Never Forgets by Barbara Stewart

5 extremely emotional stars!!

"I fell in love with you and never fell out. I tried. God knows I tried."

OMG what have I just read!! I absolutely LOVE and HATE the blogger who recommended this book to me (she knows who she is!!) Thank god my husband was out last night so I could read this one on my own and could cry till my hearts content without any sarky comments!! I used up an endless mountain of tissues and the sofa ended up looking like a tissue recycling plant, my face?? Well that was just one big, red, puffy eyeballed mess, literally!!

My fellow blogger Willow never cries with a book, so this was recommended to us as 100% dead cert to make her cry, she is reading now, so we will see!! However, I thought that I would test this theory for myself, I am an open blubberer, I don't mind being called soft or whatever, but if a book makes me cry and I feel the emotion and the pain then the author has done their job and boy did Barbara Stewart pull a number on me last night.

This is the story of Andy and Beth or (his Bethy), this is one moving story. Beth's best friend Kim had a relation in the band Traveler, Beth was Traveler's biggest fan and was stoked that Kim had managed to get backstage passes to their latest concert. At a backstage party they were introduced to the band and Bethy was introduced to Andy Steven's, he was Beth's idol but in the flesh he was so much more. As you can guess she was instantly attracted to him, but the surprise for everyone was that the feeling was mutual. Andy never falls, but this time Andy fell deep.

4.0 out of 5 stars 4.5 teary stars 28 Aug 2013
By Willow

This is part of a joint review for The Romance Cover book blog.

it is so rare for me to cry at a book, I've had books recommended to me before that "will make you cry" and I haven't so I was a bit skeptical going into this one.

I will admit that I struggled to get into it at the beginning. The writing style was different to what I was used to and I wasn't connecting to the characters or the story. I probably would have given up and moved on to another book if it the person who recommended it to me wasn't so sure that I'd cry. So I carried on and I am so pleased I did. At about 25% I started to get into the story, I got used to the writing style and I started to feel some of the things the characters went through.

I too kept wondering what could happen that was so bad that it would make me cry and I came up with theories, but none were close to the truth.

I will admit that I did not like one of the main characters throughout most of the book, because they caused a lot of hurt and they did something I couldn't get past. I was texting my blog partner saying OMG I cant believe that happened or I really don't like them now, but the author did a very good job at getting me to change my mind, because at the end of the book I felt so so sorry for them.

So the big question is did I cry? Yes I did, there were a few tears at one point and so I text my blog partner admitting that I was teary and she replied that it wasn't even the worst bit! When I got to that point, bam that was it, I was definitely crying. The tissues came out and I even had to stop a few times because I couldn't see the words! I pretty much stayed that way until the end of the book.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not what I want to read in a romance book 2 Sep 2013
By Laura TOP 500 REVIEWER
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Although this book has good reviews, I respect their opinions but for me, what happens in this book is not what I personally like to read in a romance book.

The reviews hint at sadness but even reading the prologue, I got a sense of what the ending was going to be and I was correct. Not my cup of tea.

I really enjoyed this book as it took you through a journey of when 2 people meet , live love and spend time together in a relationship that takes you through all the emotions that endures. A little slow in places when it starts but persevere as this book takes you on a ride you won't forget in a hurry

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm heart sick 20 Mar 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Read this book without reading any of the reviews, so I had no pre-conceived ideas.
What a read. My emotions went up and down. My heart thudded with disappointment (not in the story) but with one of the characters. It also thudded with sadness. I read it until 3 o'clock this morning as I couldn't wait to know what happened.
Then I cried myself to sleep. Lovely, emotional story. Everybody has to read this. What a book hangover I've got though.

I downloaded this free book awhile back, why did I wait so long to read it? Big mistake......
It's absolutely stunning, extremely emotional. I've been a mess throughout as it really tugs at the heartstrings. You are pulled into all of their lives. Bethy is such an inspiration, truly loved by all, I shall definitely read the next 2 books as I need to know they can all carry on.
A must read, don't wait, its highly recommended
