after awaiting this dvd and a prompt delivery was had i must add , the footage was awfull ! the various concert footage on the disc were far from enjoyable and the sound was poor . the details shown on the sleeve rear of the case explained that it was NOT an authorised release , but when purchased there was no mention of this .

A very poorly named DVD. What it actually is (and even the credits at the end admit this) is "Metallica, the Halycon years" which is basically a bunch of people you've mainly not heard of talking about Kill 'em All to the black album from a 'we were there' point of view mixed in with some very fuzzy footage of them playing Woodstock in '94 and lots of (C) notices. I got it for xmas, so I'm not to bothered but if I'd got it my self, I would not have been pleased!

You know why there is no description of this DVD on Amazon? Because they would never sell it if they told you what was actually on it. DVD is 90% interviews, sound is terrible, and concert video clips look like they were filmed with a cell phone.
Amazon: This DVD is a complete rip-off. Take it off your shelves and start giving better descriptions of the media you sell. You're getting lazy.
