Freddie Jackson does soul the typical way it should be, but with that little extra buzz of perfection. This album is tops, the first from Freddie. I recall my good friend Lloyd Stephens, who grew up with me in Whites Square, Clapham, South West London, playing this album back in 1986. I sat with Lloyd in his room and observed how he rocked and sang along to the whole album, and suddenly he was moved by it so much that he looked up at the ceiling and shouted out "Hitch!" Listen to this album, feel the classic soul and that's what you'll say.
