What a great single this is! Rock A Hula Baby is a great rock tune Hawaiian style! while the b-side is Can't Help Falling In Love which is an amazing ballad and one of the greatest love songs ever, period. Unfortunatley both songs didn't hit the top spot in the USA, Rock A Hula Baby hit #23 while Can't Help Falling In Love just missed out at #2

This is a re-issue of Elvis classic doubled sided hit single "Rock-A-Hula Baby / Can't Help Falling in Love" from 1961. While "Can't Help Faqlling in Love" was the big hit in the US, "Rock-A-Hula" was the bigger hit in the UK. "Can't Help Falling in Love" peeked at number 2 on the US singles chart but went all the way to number 1 on the US Adult Contemporary Chart. While "Rock-A-Hula" went to number 1 in the UK, it only managed to peek at 23 in the US. This release includes a very nicely done alternate version of "Can't Help Falling in Love" from the movie. While you can get the "Blue Hawaii" soundtrack CD with bonus tracks for almost the same price you can get this single, it is still a nice collector's item for avid Elvis fans.
