Let's just say - i saw the Rock Chick series and wasn't interested... but it kept showing up on my recommendations and caved in. I ended up buying them all and loved every single one.. the hot bunch make me wish i knew them, and that they really existed. *sigh* hot-hot-hot

I really liked this one. Luke is a terrific hero and super hot. Because he had been all over some of the previous heroines I was glad that he had a history with Ava - it made the romance much more convincing. Their back story was really sweet. I also liked Ava and I thought that her reactions were very realistic for someone who had her history, both with her weight and her bad exes.

And of course, lots of action, lots of wacky characters, and all the fun associated with this series. Looking forward to Mace's story!

#5 - Rock Chick Revenge - Luck and Ava

Ok... starts great... glad our characters this time have some history... although, I got a little mad when Luke didn't recognize Ava... oh well... heard through the grapevine that this one is the best in the bunch...well, we'll see about that...

I was getting really upset at all the interruption... I mean... come on... Once Luke gets to Ava... it's all over but the cryin'... damn people... quit interrupting... they need to get down and dirty!!!

Now Luke is absolutely one of those associated with the "Hot Boy Brigade," but he's also something else... you can automatically feel the love coming from him... you know... JUST KNOW that he loves Ava right from the start... and her him... of course no one's admitting that, but it's fun to be involved... and when I say involved... I feel like I'm there with all these crazy Rock Chicks!! "Hey bartender, 5 shots of tequila and hold the limes... we're Rock Chicks, we can take it!!!!!" Love it!!!

Holy Cramoly... the kidnappings, the hot pursuit of hot hot hotty Ava, the fights, then making up... oh boy... the making up... in bed, against the wall, spooning, kitchen counters, and wherever the mood strikes ya... According to Ava.. Lee Nightingale's application to work for Nightingale Investigations just says... "Are you hot... if not put this application down now and walk out of this office!!!"

As usual... the Rock Chick are at it again... trying to solve the crime before the Hot Bunch!!! Too funny when they all get together... Makes me wish I had all my girlfriends close to me again...

Totally fell in love with this book in the first chapter... and love love love this series with all my heart... some books are better than others... (this one being my fave by far) but all is all so far so good...
