Product Description

An ingenious idea that gives added play value to compulsory Christmas Crackers. Each of the eight crackers contains a whistle pitched to a different note and a numbered badge. Once everyone has pulled their cracker a nominated 'conductor' follows the song sheets pointing at each 'musician' when it is their turn to play. The result: beautiful music... or total chaos depending on the competency (and sobriety) of the players. Eight crackers are packed in a tray with transparent lid.

These crackers gave us the best fun at the christmas table! We had exactly nine people, perfect for the 8 crackers, ninth person was the conductor. No matter what you normally pay for crackers, the gift inside is normally not of much fun or use but these certainly added much laughter at our table. Played at the end of the meal did help, most had had a glass or two of bubbly. Each person has a sticky number to put on themselves and a whistle. The conductor has the sheets of xmas music and a pointer to instruct people required to blow their whistle. 10 out of 10 for fun

I bought these crackers for a family Christmas dinner for 8. Perfect I thought and although I would agree with previous reviewers who say sound quality of the whistles is poor the most disappointing thing was there was no whistle number 6 and two number 4, hence making the whole thing useless. You would expect to have one of each whistles so you could play the suggested tunes.
Very poor and disappointing.
Suggest you do not buy

8 adults attempted to "play" the tunes provided. The notes the whistles produced all sounded very similar so no tunes successful. Save your money, don't buy.

These crackers contain a hat with musical score, a joke, and a whistle. There are 8 whistles in total, and the box contains a baton (stick), some circles with numbers, and music score. The idea is that one person conducts the rest of the family, who blow their whistles when the conductor indicates.

My youngest (7) didn't really get the idea, but my daughter loved it. There is a good choice of Christmas carols to play, so you could end up spending quite a bit of time at the end of the meal with this if you wanted to. Ours didn't quite last that long, but it was still fun.

You'll never have more fun out of a Christmas cracker than this wonderful product. They're now an essential part of our family get-together & are a great laugh even if it's often impossible to guess the tune.
