Very nice radio. Good points are:
well made, substantial, nicely finished,
good reception- some DAB radios struggle at our address, this one doesn't.
quick to turn on- other DAB radios make you wait several seconds before they play, this is quicker.
very good, natural sound, warm, full bass in particular
simple, intuitive controls.
only downsides are no remote control, and sound quality at it's best directly in front of the unit- less clear if you listen at an angle.
All in all, the best DAB radio we have in the house (we have 6 in total including a Pure Evoke).

This item is a radio that is also an alarm clock, not an alarm clock that is also a radio.
The unit itself is of beautiful quality and functional design, much more befitting of a bedroom than a kitchen. The piano black wooden cabinet and the knobs and dials look and feel top drawer. The excellent sound quality is richly mellifluous at a range of volumes from very quiet to quite loud. I am hearing aspects of familiar music that i have not noticed before. There is no adjustment for tone, but none is necessary. The unit auto tunes itself for (30 here) stations and the exact time and date, and the user manual is clear and easy. The alarms seem to work fine. Ive been enjoying this radio so much, even when it is only on standby, it looks so classy.
There are settable 4 levels for brightness of the LCD display, but i find the dimmest a little too bright in my bedroom at night, and not quite bright enough to read in the morning ambient light. An auto-dim function would complete this fine piece of kit.
It is easily the second nicest thing that happens in my bedroom and i cannot recommend it enough.

I have been looking for a unit such as this for while. We needed a good quality sound unit for the bedroom, that could primarily feature as our alarm clock. This unit does both to our satisfaction. The first thing to say is that the audio quality is superb for the price. This must be down to the built in subwoofer and stereo speakers. This unit packs quite a punch. The DAB tuner is brilliant and easy to use as are the presets (5 for DAB and 5 for FM). The dimmer has four settings from bright to almost invisible. The alarms are easy to set and give the option of radio or buzzer. The buzzer slowly increases in volume. The customisable snooze button is very handy! I love the fact that it automatically updates the date and time via the radio waves, very cool. The Aux-in really sold this product for us as did it's household portability. We can plug in the MP3 player with ease and play good sound quality music and if we want to move the unit into the kitchen or garden (via an outside socket) we can do so easily as the unit is very robust and easily moveable. Very satisfied. Worth considering as a bedroom alarm clock solution (you don't have to have the radio on when setting the alarm, but it will come on tuned to the previous station and at the last volume setting).
