There are a lot more reviews & comments for the black version of this device, so I'll just add a few of my observations:

Pros :
1) Some people have criticised the unit for having a wire aerial rather than telescopic. I preferred the wire one - who wants a telescopic aerial sticking up on their bedside table? The wire one can simply hang down behind the bedside cabinet.
2) Two independent alarms. As well as the time the radio channel, volume and "weekday only / all days / one-off" can also be set independently.
3) Pretty good (mono) sound - but a little too much bass.
4) Not too hard to set up
5) Managed to pick up a reasonable number of DAB stations, even though we're in a poor reception area.

Cons :
1) As others have mentioned, the sound has a bit too much bass, but I can live with it. The overall sound is quite clear, though the ability to adjust tone would have been nice.
2) The buttons on top do feel a bit flimsy, as does the click/rotate tuning knob (which feels a bit loose, like it won't last long).
3) It would have been nice to be able to set a snooze time other than 5 minutes, and make it cumulative (i.e. press the snooze button twice to get 10 minutes snooze - our old Sony model used to to that.)
4) A minor annoyance - but the left hand buttons on top have to be pressed on the left edge, and the right-hand buttons on the right edge, rather than the middle. I could understand this in the case of a single volume button, where pressing one end increases the volume, and pressing the other decreases the volume, but most of the buttons have a single function. Press them in the middle, though, and nothing happens.

Overall, a smart looking device with decent sound quality, but some aspects feel a bit sub-standard. Maybe not worth the £64 I paid for it.

I purchased this as it looked like quite a cool radio for the bedroom. When I received it was not impressed by it at all for the money paid. The sound is very tinny, I didn't expect it to be a base box but the sound quality just was not good enough for me for the price tag. The features are ok but it is overpriced and let down by rubbish sound. Sent it back and got a pure evoke which was a bit more expensive (30 quid more) but a far better bedside radio.

The whole unit feels cheap, for the price I expected it to be a much heavier unit, but it is very light and the plastic & buttons feel flimsy.

Sound quality fairly good.

Returned for a refund no problem.
