Robert John Goddard was born in London in 1952. He has lived and worked in Italy, Portugal, Jordan and Germany. He currently lives near Frankfurt with his German wife and 5-year-old son, Anton. He also has a 30-year-old son, Alexander, from his first marriage.

Robert has written 4 novels. The first novel, "Quero Vas," remains in a drawer somewhere and may never see the light of day! "Whispers in the Hearts of Men," has recently been joined on Kindle by, "The Poor Singer of an Empty Day." A fourth novel, "The Schoenbuch Forest" will also soon be available on Kindle. These last 2 novels are also available on amazon as paperbacks under the name R J Goddard. He has also written a book for university teachers, "Teaching English for International Business." This is also available for sale on amazon. Robert is currently sketching a fifth novel about fathers and sons.
