Latest book now in Kindle: Jammy Dodgers.
Robert's intention, with this page in Author Central, is to help draw attention to his books, principally in Kindle. People say that if you have written a book you need to have it published by a mainstream publisher. Of course that's what every writer wants but Robert has fun writing and wants to see his work out there as fast as possible so that people can enjoy it.
He started writing in his late fifties with his first book Highland Schottische. Although this book still shows up in Amazon it is not available in its original form but it is now re-published as a Kindle book called Across the Bridge.
Next was a re-write of an old Scottish epic poem into a prose form. It was published as Queen of Destiny for adults and in a form for younger readers called Hynden Celtic Queen.
Jammy Dodgers, is completely different moving into crime fiction in the city of Glasgow. For non-Scots the same book is available as No Justice without the Glasgow dialect and for those who don't like strong street language you can select "Jammy" which is a softer version.
In beginning of 2012 Robert has written a few more short titles specially for Kindle readers.
A couple of his more controversial offerings are "Al Megrahi the Quality of Mercy" and "Margaret Thatcher, the not-so-iron lady"
Lots of other books planned so keep watching this page.
