The poetry and rhyme of Robert Burns is indeed an ideal companion for any time, but I found it especially satisfying to peruse this collection in the summer months. At 560 pages it is, to the best of my knowledge, complete and contains all well known works of the poet. For a volume of this size the soft paper cover feels a little flimsy, but it has survived my reading its entirety with only a minor, unnoticeable, crease on its back.

I can operate a Xerox machine better than this

This is a poor, sloppily bound mess. Seems to be a Xerox copy of only the second volume (not even the fourth as is indicated) of the sixth edition of an 1809 four volume collection. Some of the pages are not even copied straight. Compiled with no notes, no glossary, no thought or imagination. Only contains some of Burns' letters containing some of his poetry. Worthless without context. Would be an insult to my shelves and certainly to the Bard. I should have been tipped off by the sophomoric product description. Back it goes.
