My three year old son loves Roary the Race Car and when he saw this racetrack he thought it was fab.
Initial impression its ok, theres not a huge amount of track which is good as space wise its doesn't need alot of space.
However we've found the cars get stuck in exactly the same spot when they're racing which is annoying.
I don't think its great value for money £40. There are other race tracks about which are better value and also more remote control. This one is just a push button and you watch them race so once its played with a few times a boredom factor sets in.

I was really disappointed with this racing set. Very poorly designed (cars keep sticking, no "off" switch for cars so you have to physically remove batteries)and very badly made (I had to get one of the cars replaced as the battery box was sealed shut so I couldn't even get batteries in!).

I gave it two stars for entertainment as some of the voice-over is quite amusing and son enjoyed pushing cars around for a while. I'll plump for a Skalextric set or similar in the future. In my opinion this is just a cheap bit of merchandising.

My little boy is 2.75 and this is the perfect first race track for him. He loves watching the cars and given the simple operations he can manage to set the cars off and stop them himself. Have had no problems with getting the cars to stop once I read the instructions, just press the hats. I would suggest that the 3+ age guide is a little misleading as I would say as there is no small parts this is ideal for age 2-4 years, beyond that I think they would want more interaction.
