I've got a small variety of Mountain Bike DVDs (several of them by The Collective who are responsible for Roam) and this is quite simply head and shoulders above all the rest. The riding is nothing short of spectacular and covers all bases from North Shore to Trials (Ryan Leech in Prague) from single track to big air and all points in between. It is beautifully filmed on 16mm film and it really does just stand out, the colours are great, the shots well chosen and a really great balance between arty and looking great and being full of action. As for the soundtrack it's a really varied bunch of tunes (Rock, Hip-Hop, House, Accoustic, Reggae) and I've gone out and bought stuff by Boy Sets Fire, Michael Franti and The Dub Pistols as a result of hearing them on here (I really should just buy the soundtrack album).
I'm not sure I own any DVD (of any sort) that I, my kids or my mates have watched as often as this and I've only had it for a couple of months. If you like Mountain Biking or great extreme sports videos get it, you won't be sorry.
