I got this set off The Book People. The Phizz-Whizzing collection is much better than the Scrumdidlyumptious collection as here you get 15 books for £22, in the Scrumdidlyumptious set you only get 6 for £20. The books are excellent (he puts a lot of information into it), and often very funny. My favourite is George's Marvellous Medicine, where a boy who has a grumpy, miserable old grandma who bosses him around when his mother and father are out decides to make a medicine to "either cure her completely or blow off the top of her head." He goes round the house with a big saucepan, and chucks in all different sorts of things, like toothpaste, shampoo, shaving foam, deodarant, face cream and floor polish. And that is just one of the 15 fantastic stories in this Phizz-Whizzing collection.

My 1st grade son devoured these 15 books in less than 3 weeks!! My wife and I had kind off forgotten about these books, but thanks to my son's teacher who read 'The Big Friendly Giant' to the class, we rediscovered them. Our son was already an advanced reader, but thanks to Roald Dahl he left the 'picture books' behind him and now is in to what he calls 'chapter books'.
We just ordered the 'Famous five' series from Enid Blyton to feed his reading appetite.

Bought as a present for my 7 year old son. He absolutely loves the stories and he is very keen to read them on his own. He now reads Roald Dahl, rather than looking at pictures in football books.

Must have Great Roald Dahl Complete Collection
This is a must have collection of books, for children, at a great bargain. I started to buy them separately and then found the whole set at at this give away price.
