I found this book in Montreal five years or so ago. Although I'm sure one can buy it elsewhere I haven't seen it in a book store since. Which is very strange. Because Roald Dahl is so enduringly popular and because this book is so very good. The book comprises a colorful cast of characters and a highly eclectic line-up of recipes. It is gently and warmly written and infused with lots of good feeling. Some, perhaps most, of the recipes are either a). far too challenging for unambitious cooks (such as me) or b). inedible - but there are gems here too. And there is also Marwood Yeatman who I am delighted to find is about publish a book of his own. Enough. This book is a treasure trove of lovely stuff and it deserves more readers. Buy.
