I think this is an excellent product which gives an very good insight into what 'Advanced Driving' is all about. I passed the IAM test some years back, but found on watching the DVD that I had an incomplete undertanding of some aspects - which were very clearly explained, and also demonstrated, by the use of appropriate 'on the road' video clips (with some over-head shots from a Police helicopter).
I would recommend it to anyone thinking of doing the IAM or Rospa tests, to any potential ADI's or, indeed, to anyone who has an interest in better/safer driving.

I watched this driver's course as part of my training for the Institute of Advanced Motorists Advanced Driving test. I found it of great value for learning new approaches to driving and observation. This production is starting to look a little dated perhaps but contains current information for the Advanced Driving test - which I recently passed.

An excellent companion to the book, this dvd really helps with the preparation for the Institute of Advanced Motorists driving test. Very informative.

Very poor
Sound and picture quality are both poor. The instructions are not always audible and are frequently unclear or jargonised. The booklet is much better though by no means perfect.
