Used over a hundred of these with no real problem (my 5260S doesn't like them much but my GH22NS50 (Renasys chipset) & DRU-875S (MTK chipset) love them). Only 2 discs have failed and that was on the aforementioned drive, work perfectly fine on my 360 and on the 2 compatible burners, gave me back a good PIE score on Discspeed.
These use RITEK S04-66 dye which is becoming pretty common (albeit unfortunately in some cases). This dye is also used on AonE and Mirror discs, both of which all burners i've ever had, absolutely despised (except on the 7240S (NEC chipset), but my DRU-875S gets locked up). The build quality of the disc is whats more important here and these so far, have been consistent.
As far as DL media goes, only 2 brands have been impeccable, Verbatim (avoid india made ones and stick to singapore/taiwan versions) and Kodak printable. Those discs have never failed me, ever. But as long as your hardware is compatible, neither will these Arita.
If you buy them and they don't work for you, its not the discs exclusively, its the combination of burner and media.
