disinct, clear, perfect pitch, tonal beauty, perfect harmony with musical score, truly spectacular and spiritually elevating and inspiring...Why is this lady`s expression of the "Mysterium tremedum et fasinans" not made known universally?

4.0 out of 5 stars An interesting mix of songs and clear, beautiful voice ... 16 Nov 2000
By chris becker - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
this singer came up on one of those "if you like this, try this" music web sites and unlike most of the off the wall suggestions, I am glad I took a chance on this cd. Her voice seems almost chameleon, reminding me at times of Loreena McKennitt, at times of early Joni Mitchell and then of Judy Collins , without the occasional sense of straining and brashness. Indeed she seems to glide effortlessly through a variety of song types, from tradional celtic tunes, to almost mideastern and island sounding tunes, to a warm and almost sleepy version of "Stormy Weather" and wrapping up an all around enjoyable visit with a self composed lullabye. all in all an enjoyable experience.
