2.0 out of 5 stars Lux Pain , a game with a story and very little else., 24 May 2009

Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
Lux Pain when i got it i was actually looking forward to at least a decent story with some interesting gameplay elements to it. What i got was a great dissapointment. The sound and animation is ok as well as the storyline but what really gets to me is the weird sometimes even broken text the fact that the storyline leaves very little optional content and also its very hard to actually follow whats going on in the game so half the time you will just be doing guesswork on all the few things you actually get a choice in. If anyone ever decides to get the game my recommendation is to stick on a pair of headphones so you can listen better to what's going on more clearly as the text is just naft.

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent interactive novel!, 9 Aug 2009

Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This is the first interactive novel style game that has kept my interest in the characters since Another Code, enough so for me to put in the 15 hours I needed to complete the game including still playing at 2am!
The only drawback to some is it is text heavy but it is more of a manga based story than a "game",however sometimes the interactive sequence can get a bit frantic,I highly recommend a screen protector for your DS,also the translation adds excellent comedy value from the typpos to the reference of male characters as "she" and vice versa, the game is supposedly set in America with Japanese/Chinese characters and in a town called Kiseragi!!! Pure comedy genius, play and enjoy!!
