This is the story of a young Irish girl who made it to the top of her profession. Follow her successes and failures, tears and laughter and joy and pain, from her home in Ireland via London to Italy and La Scala Milan.

This is a must read book for anyone who wants an insight to the world of opera. It is a book that you can laugh and cry over but most of all it is a book of hope and tells us that we must never give up no matter what the hardship
