5.0 out of 5 stars Be the First Human Being on Mars! 4 Jun 2014

I am continuously amazed at the quality of apps that can be found for the Android systems (and that other one). This app does things that my very expensive astro software for my PC cannot do. I've been an amateur astronomer since I was very young and especially a Mars freak. Elevation Mars is a marvel! It takes you to Mars -- not for a few billion dollars -- but for a miserly $2.99! The ability to see all the incredible Martian sights in their true (or enhanced) profiles is wonderful. I'd recommend this app -- and anything else by Ripside LLC -- to anyone who wants to see the wonders of our little solar system neighbor.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stunning Texture, a rush to the Senses 2 Jun 2014

I love hanging out in close orbit watching the red planet go bye. Seeing all the features, ones I know and alot I didn't. As I've already said, the texture is something to behold. The custom options are so interestingly impressive, textures and colours that make the Red Planet mysterious as it should be.
The second great app from this group, if you haven't seen Elevation Earth you're missing out, but this is a great one. I see the moon on the horizon?
Keep it coming Ringside.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best way to learn about the features of Mars! 27 May 2014
By AZTiger - Published on
Love the slick 3D graphics and coloring. Really impressed with the apps teaching potential. It lets you play with the features to produce incredible images of the surface of Mars. Without the coloring and elevation exaggeration Mars can seem a little uninteresting to the average person but this makes it great fun. I have played for hours and hours and still have lots more to discover. One of my favorite things is that I now feel I can guide someone else to a feature of Mars. In the past with other material I always had to remember the names of features in order to located them.

Definitely recommend it!

Interesting app, but I was expecting more ground-level graphics where you can navigate the canyons, mounds, and other fascinating
Mars features as you were flying over and through the planet.
