The Rio Sonicleanse uses micro-pulsating high frequency sonic cleaning for a deeper, more effective clean. It's gentle enough to use as part of your daily beauty routine and helps reduce the appearance of pores, oily areas, dry skin patches and blemishes. The head pulses at 10,000 times a minute to gently loosen dirt and oil to cleanse your pores. Use the Sonicleanse daily to remove the epidermal (outer) layer of dry and flaky skin cells and to remove dirt and grime from deep within the pores, leaving your skin feeling and looking refreshed and revitalised. It is designed to invigorate your skin and, at a fraction of the cost compared to other leading sonic cleansing brushes, it will save you money too. It's water resistant for use in the shower or bath and comes with two-year warranty.
To use the Rio Sonicleanse, after charging the unit, simply dampen your face with warm water and apply your chosen cleansing product, either to the brush head or directly to your face. Choose the High or Low power level and move the Sonicleanse over each area of your face. Starting with the forehead, then nose, chin and finishing with each cheek, the Sonicleanse will beep at 20 second intervals to help you maximise your skin care regime. When you are done, turn the unit off and gently rinse your face with warm water leaving your skin feeling and looking refreshed and revitalised.

Amazon Verified Purchase
After using this product for two weeks, I feel that it's time I give the Rio Sonicleanse the review it deserves. On the first use, I was absolutely amazed - I actually saw whiteheads being removed from my pores! My skin felt almost 'squeaky clean' but without being dry or tight, and my serums and moisturisers absorbed more quickly and thoroughly.
With having oily skin, I use it in the morning and evening after applying my usual cleanser to my face with my fingers. As the days went on, the blackheads in my nose were disappearing, and the clogged pores on my cheeks were really being cleaned and became less noticeable. And my face feels very, very, soft!
After about ten days I put my least favourite liquid foundation on and was surprised at how it glided on my face much easier and didn't give me the usual 'cakey' appearance. This was definitely attributed to the improvements to my skin mentioned above, including a couple rough/dry patches being brushed away!
I mainly purchased this product to improve the texture of my skin, but without spending the amount of money needed for a Clarisonic. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be as many 'dupes' in the UK market, but thank goodness I discovered the Sonicleanse! At the time when I ordered it from Amazon.co.uk, there weren't any reviews, but I found that this may actually be the same item as the Pretika SonicDermabrasion Facial Brush available in the US on Amazon.com. For the most part, that item has good reviews, with some people complaining about battery faults and the charging cradle. I wouldn't worry about that too much if you're purchasing the Rio though, because unlike in the US, you are given a 2 year (as opposed to a 30 day) warranty that you can activate by registering it on the manufacturer's website. I would also advise against using this in the shower or under any running water to be safe, and definitely do not keep the charging cradle near water or insert the device while wet (this is emphasised in the instruction manual as well). I've used it continually for two weeks after the initial charge, never keep it in the cradle, and haven't had to charge it yet, so the battery life seems great thus far.
All in all, I am thrilled with the results I have noticed after relatively short usage of the Sonicleanse. If you have oily skin, blackheads and clogged pores, I absolutely recommend you try this product and work it into your daily routine. Try not to go into this expecting to obtain 'perfect' skin though. The size of our pores are always going to remain the same, but what a thorough cleansing system like this will do is get rid of the debris that manual cleansing and exfoliating fail to do, in order to improve the texture of your skin and help pores be far less noticeable.

Loved this sonic brush/cleanser, it's easy to use and has 2 speed settings and only takes 2 minutes for a deep clean. My skin is so much smoother, spots I had have cleared up, flaky skin is a thing of the past and moistursers go in much more smoothly. I could not live without it, it has transformed my skin - love it : - )

I recently ordered this as I had a similar electronic face cleaning system quite a few years ago and loved it. This product is a upgrade from my previous one as this one now has sonic technology.
Charging it was no issues (although make sure you press the unit firmly into the base otherwise you will experience high pitched squeaks). A spare cleaning head also comes with this product. The heads are of good size for your face.
After using the unit, my face felt very very smooth. I can't remember the last time it was that smooth after exfoliating. The only annoying thing is the unit turns itself off after a minute and you have to press the start button again to get it going. I used it for a few minutes on my face the first time as my face needed a extra long cleaning session. A++++
