This is a truly amazing expansion, like its parent game. The castles add extra options for scoring crowded features, the bazaars create a new field to compete in and the bridges help with completing blocked castles and roads. But the bridges also help to expand farms. A farm in one of my family's recent games became so valuable that by the game's end 12 farmers had competitively raced in, hoping that their owner would be the one to score for the feature. Before buying this brilliant expansion we had never had close to this many farmers in 1 farm. This is only 1 of the game's options, opened up here and nowhere else (we have 7 other expansions and no other is this varied).

This adds a new dimension to the game giving the option of getting more points from the Castles and surprises from the Bazaars. I must admit the bridges are a concept that we are all struggling with and as we play for family amusement rather than dead serious we will try them out when we are happy with the other two.

There are three separate idears here, two simple and straightforward which work well with other expansion sets. The third is much more complicated and will add much more time to the length of a game.
