The deep cleansing treatment uses the continuous wave programme to remove dead cells from the skin surface to leave your skin feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and ultra-smooth. This process of deep cleansing and exfoliation expels pollutants, dirt and grime otherwise trapped in the epidermis.

Ultrasonic scrapers can also be used to increase the effective absorption of serums into the skin, a process known as ‘sonophoresis’. The sonophoresis treatment uses the pulsing wave programme to increase the permeability of your skin helping the effective absorption of the collagen serum. This combined with the increased circulation from the ultrasonic waves helps plump up the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and making your skin appear firmer and younger.

The scraper is easy to use and its ultrasonic action is quick and efficient to give you clean healthy skin. For a deep cleansing treatment, moisten the skin with warm water, ideally after bathing or showering, and select the continuous wave programme. With the scraper edge touching your skin, methodically work over all areas of the face in a slow scraping motion to remove dead cells from the skins surface.

For a sonophoresis treatment, simply apply a small amount of collagen serum to your face, ideally after bathing or showering, and select the low or high intensity pulsing wave programme. Gliding the scraper over the skin will ensure all areas of the face are treated and will help the collagen serum gradually be absorbed.

    Rio Ultrasonic Facial Cleanser really works. I've used it once every two weeks and it makes my skin very smooth and clean. My skin type is combination/sensitive. After using the cleanser my face gets a bit red but it doesn't feel irritated at all. Maybe it's not very suitable for people with super sensitive skin but otherwise I highly recommend it!

    I've had this for a few weeks now and my skin is looking much clearer which is great. It feels a bit weird when you use it due to the ultrasonic vibrations. I tend to use a face scrub first in the shower so my pores are open then use product, I then do a face mask to get any remaining rubbish out my skin, then use the facial cleaser again to put my serum on. My skin feels super soft afterwards.
