Using micro current technology Rio Evolution destroys the hair root and papilla to prevent future hair growth. The unique tweezer action automatically retracts to remove unwanted hair quickly and easily for permanent, pain-free hair removal without costly visits to the salon.
The micro current changes the pH in the hair follicle to alkaline, which then starts to attack the hair root and papilla cells (it is these cells which are responsible for hair growth). This action continues for some time after the treatment is complete and the hair has been removed. It is not always possible to kill all of the papilla cells in a single treatment and in these situations the hair may regrow. If it does regrow however, it is generally much finer and lighter than previously. Successive treatments will kill the papilla cells giving a permanent result. You may use your normal epilation methods in between treatments.
Before you start using Rio Evolution, study and understand the information guide provided in order to get the best results. Remove any make-up and clean the treatment area using soap and water before you begin.
Switch the unit on and set the timer to suit the type of hair being treated (the treatment time varies between 5 and 30 seconds), then apply a small amount of the conductive gel to the hairs. Using the tweezers gently take hold of the hair at the point where it meets the skin and the treatment cycle will begin automatically.
When the cycle is complete the unit will bleep and the green light will come on to indicate that you are done. The hair can now be removed by increasing the pressure on the tweezer button to pluck the hair out of the hair follicle. The destruction of the hair root cells continues for some time after the treatment has finished. It makes no difference whether you remove the hair immediately or not. If there is a particularly stubborn hair, an additional treatment or longer treatment time may be required.
As with all hair removal treatments it is recommended that the area you have treated is washed with cool water and a mild antiseptic cream applied.

like the above review i have not experienced permanent hair removal,dont waste your money buying this as it's rubbish and next thing you know the hair is growing back.

Electrolysis treatments are very successful and unlike laser can treat a wide variety of thickness and colour.
However, in order for electrolysis to work affectively, the needle must be in contact with the root.
When the hair thin needle in slid down the hair shaft, if it is not down far enough or has missed the root, it WILL NOT WORK.
Any qualified electrolysis practitioner will tell you this, for free!
A good electrolysist is a good judge of the length of the hair below the surface. Even with the most powerful machines and even with combo machines..if the needle is not in the root..it will not 'weaken' or 'stop' the hair from regrowing.
If you are still in doubt, look in the phone book, call a few electrolysists and find out for yourself.

I was really looking forward to recieving this product, because I knew it would save me a hell of a lot of money.
But when I tryed it out I was really dissapointed and angry that it didn't do what it was supposed to do.
I sat there for 2 hours last night trying this product out and it did nothing, I thought it was just me not doing it right, but I followed all the instructions and it did nothing. Hopefully I will get a refund!!!! I would not recomend this Item to anyone else!!!!
