The Rio CelluLight uses salon low level laser technology in a combined treatment regime with caffeine-rich Liporeductyl to stimulate cellular metabolic processes, improve microcirculation, reduce skin nodules and to improve skin smoothness and elasticity. CelluLight mostly affects the lower limbs, abdomen, and pelvic region but because it is a natural rejuvenation process, you can use it on any part of the body.
While CelluLight is hypoallergenic, we recommend that you do a patch test 24 hours before use. Treat a small area using both the treatment serum and firming cream on the inside of the forearm. When you are ready to start you may find it beneficial to have a mirror handy and for best results, exfoliate before treatment. We suggest using the caffeine enriched treatment serum in the morning and the night active firming cream in the evening, leaving a minimum of six hours between treatments. Ideally, do not wash or shower the treated area within six hours after treatment.
For the morning treatment, massage a small amount of treatment serum vigorously into the area to be treated for a minimum of five minutes or until fully absorbed into the skin. Leave for a further five minutes before starting the laser therapy by placing the tip of the wand against your skin and moving it slowly over the skin in a circular motion applying slight pressure as you go.
The CelluLight laser has eight intensity settings, but unless you have sensitive skin use higher settings for maximum effect. People with sensitive skin may feel a mild tingling sensation, although most people feel nothing. Treatment on a thigh should take you no longer than five minutes. Move onto the other parts of your body to be treated and repeat the process until your morning treatment is done.
For the evening treatment, leave at least six hours after your morning treatment for maximum results. Your evening treatment is exactly the same routine as the morning one, only this time use the night active firming cream.
For the long-term management of your skin, try and follow the principles of a healthy, well-balanced diet with plenty of water. Eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables and use only the minimum of spreading fats and vegetable oils. Avoid snacks which are high in either fat, sugar or salt.
