With superior quality, design and functionality the range has been designed to complement and perform to the same high standards as the high value devices plugged into them.

Product Description

There’s a huge increase in the number of satellite navigation systems, radar detectors, DVD players and general plug and play systems being used in car these days. However, most vehicles only have one 12V outlet so more are often needed

The new Ring multisocket range has been created to meet this demand. With superior quality and functionality, the range has been specifically designed to complement and perform to the same high standard as the high value devices plugged into them.

The use of these devices depletes battery power sometimes to such a level as to prevent the car from starting. To overcome this Ring have built in a battery status indicator.

By using electronic circuitry and LED indicator lamps you can monitor the status of the battery voltage and start up the engine whenever required.
In addition this clever feature also monitors the performance of the car’s charging system.

This unit allows you to use three accessories and your cigarette lighter

No doubnt somewhere the packaging will tell me that this product originated in China but this product is superb quality, well engineered and manufactured. I use a cool box, iPad and mobile phone when travelling, so being restricted to a single 12 volt outlet causes significant problems. I'm unsure why the product comes with two small screws (maybe 2BA) as it's so easy to just let it sit on the centre console of my car, cool box behind passenger seat and the phone and iPod on that seat. As items can drain your battery, the indicator lights are very good, but most cars, including mine, only supply power to the 12 volt socket when the ignition is switched-on. However, if your charging system has a fault, this will soon advise you.

I bought this to feed several items in my car whilst still keeping the cigarette lighter. I tapped into the lighter supply and used an in-line fuse as the plug was removed. The unit itself is very sturdy not like some I have had previously bought from petrol/service stations. The fixing arms slide out from the main unit but stay attached, The unit will then slide in both directions (left or right) to hide one of the mounting screws leaving the other visible. The mounting screws could have been a little longer than the ones supplied which really in my only grumble with this unit. The battery state indicator is a nice touch and lets you know that your alternator is working and it nicely illuminates the unit if like myself you have mounted it down low on the centre consule. I would recommend this but watch out for the P&P, I only noticed this after using 1 click purchase and could have got it cheaper elsewhere.

An excellent piece of equipment. Does everything it says. Allows me to connect my sat nav, my phone and the external speakers for my phone. No more having to unplug and plug different cables into one socket. The charging system warning lights are an added bonus. Well worth the money.

This is a great bit of kit as it not only does what many other adapters do (increase the amount of devised one can have off of one cigarette lighter socket) but it will help you judge how much battery power you have left when the engine is off and how well your charging system is doing when it is running.

Moreover, the end (left most) socket is of the type which you can plug in the actual cigarette lighter into and so as a smoker you may find this an advantage.

8Amp max current.

Short, but well built lead.

Can be mounted permanently using mounting screws and slide out bracket on base.

Well worth the money.

Feels robust, looks well made and does make multiple sockets available. Bought it mainly to confirm generator charging properly and battery ok on older car but works on my other car as easily transportable whilst additional sockets useful for running ipod charger and satnav at same time. So far, does what it says "on the tin". Came very promptly at good price. Pleased so far.

Does what it says - worked with ipods, phone chargers etc. Did not try it with anything that was very7 hungry on power, but it did the job.

4x 12v sockets in a row. I agree with other reviews that mounting can be a problem but otherwise this piece of kit is ok.
A USB port would be an useful addition.
