This 75 page edition is an efficient and likeable publication.
The book includes the famous Rime of the Ancient Mariner (with side notes) and Kubla Khan as well as 20 or so others.
The layout and print font are easy to read and the absence of an introduction spares the reader from facing mumbled opinions of the elite university members who usually appear in these books.
Affordable reading from Dover. Thoroughly recommended, especially for those who have never read Coleridge and don't want to spend large amounts of money on something they may not like.
Once again, well done Dover Publications.

This is one of my favourite poems and this book reproduces it for you at a great price. This is one of the best epic story poems out there and well worth a read, even if you've not read much poetry before. This book is a great format and well worth the small outlay to get a classic piece of poetry.

Format:Kindle Edition
My son gave me a Kindle for my birthday and this was one of the first pieces I downloaded. Having read Coleridge`s tale of ancient torment revisited by the Mariner many years ago as part of an English Lit. course, it was wonderful to find it again, and to share the Tale, in all its dread and terror, here. If you have never read this, but are a fan of tales of mystery and wonder, this will certainly chill your blood!

This is a poem like book. It is sad at some points and spookie at others. I would recomend this book to someone who likes a mystery. In this book the mariner is telling the story. Read more

The Rime of the Ancient Mariner (Dover Thrift)
This book is on my daughter's english literature list. She doesn't like the "olde English" language but besides that it's OK. The text is a good size.

A renewed friendship!
I learned some of this at school and can still recite it off by heart. It was great to reread the whole thing from an adult perspective. At this price you cant go wrong!
