- The Rimax 5.8GHz Audio Video Sender & Receiver utilises leading-edge wireless communications technology enabling it to send clear, stable audio/video signals from one location in the home or office to a remote location at a distance of up to 100 meters through walls, floors and ceilings. Unlike ALL 2.4GHz models, this product from Rimax doesn't suffer from interference from Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) or cordless phones. You pay a little more but get a much superior product that won't disappoint.
- Simply plug the transmitter into the output on the source device and the receiver into an input socket of the TV you wish to receive the signal on. The audio and video will then be transmitted from the source device to the second TV wirelessly. For maximum convenience, the unit also relays signals from your remote control back to the source so you can use your remote to change channels from the other room.
- This product can also send high resolution DVD-ROM images wirelessly to your TV (requires a VGA-to-TV converter) allowing you to enjoy high quality audio and video on your big screen TV. Rimax 5.8GHz Audio Video Sender & Receiver
I have this product attached to the spare scart in the back of my sky+ box to a tv upstairs. Take the sky+ remote upstairs and you've got total control - just like your in front of the box downstairs. The signal passes through 2 walls and 1 ceiling over about 20m. The picture and sound clarity is perfect, even when it gets walked in front of. It was quite expensive but well worth it after the reviews i've seen of others.

Just took a bit of common sense and 5/10 minutes to set up, did not even need the instructions. I wanted to transmit from the Sky box downstairs to upstairs into the bedroom. The bedroom is not directly above the living room but on the diagonal. . The Rimax Audio Video Sender did not have a problem transmitting or receiving a signal through 2 walls and a ceiling (I live in a Victorian house with solid walls).
Picture & audio quality was very good but did notice some interference if you went close to the unit. There was no problem with changing the channel on the Sat box when I was watching TV in the bedroom.
All in very pleased with the results and would recommend this product.

The Rimax 5.8GHz Audio Video sender and receiver is an amazing piece of kit. It does exactly as it says on the box. It is easy to install. The delivery service is excellent. The reception on the second TV is remarkable especially as I have other wireless receivers and transmitters in the same room. This is a problem for less efficient models.
