I don't normally write reviews but I know how much I rely on them when making a purchase and the one that has been left doesn't give this book enough credit.
True, I, too didn't know what to expect when I purchased this book, I bought it for the simple reason it was by Rihanna. The book is basically a behind the scenes for her last tour and the photographs capture it perfectly - really artistic and beautiful. If you went to one of Rihanna's shows for the Last Girl on Earth tour you will see similarities in the photographs as to stage settings and images.
There are some written pieces in this book, which aren't long or written by Rihanna but this book was never meant to be or advertised as a biography/autobiography. It is as stated "the official visual chronicle of the year's "it" girl as she embarks on her first solo tour".
Personally I would recommend this to any Rihanna fan, it may not be for a child fan as they may wish for facts such as hobbies and favourite foods etc but they may enjoy the pictures, which there are lots. As an adult, 22 year old, fan of Rihanna I think its a nice book and yes, I would enjoy a book about Rihanna written by Rihanna, but for now I enjoy this piece of art, as that is what it is.

I was very disappointed in this, very little description on amazon but thought I would order for an avid Rihanna fan. All this is is a book of photographs of Rihanna, very little text, way over priced. I would have returned but the book is good quality, therefore very heavy to return.

I got this book because it has Rihanna pictures in it and she's amazing. But there are really very few good pictures in here. Most pictures are of things like blurry motorbikes and her shoe collection at the time. I love Rihanna but this book is terrible. If you want a great picture book buy the Lady Gaga one by Terry Richardson.

bought for a christmas present some christmas present its rubbish nothing at all really no words just picture i was expecting and autobigraphy this is not its blank writing pages and a picture some are not even of rihanna just her tour or backstage its not even worth the money reduced would defo not recommend it its utter rubbish

Not as good or as in-depth as the GaGa or Bowie books that are available though. But still worth a buy if you are interested in this style of photography or a fan :)

If you want to look at behind the scene pictures then you will love it but if you want a book to read DONT get this as there is very little text and as far as i'm concernd this photo album is very over priced for what it is !!!!!!
