The only way to learn how to unicycle is by sitting on one.
This book is a great introduction to the practicalities of unicycling. It has some simple tips for beginners, "never take your foot off the bottom pedal", and moves on to helpful guidance on the more advanced moves like freemounting a 7 foot unicycle.
It is short, but then it is not very expensive. If you have just spent £50 - £100 on a unicycle and can't figure out what to do next, then this is the book for you.

I had bought my unicycle and wanted a book that would teach me how to become a one wheeled wonder. This book delivers all the relevant information with a touch of wit thrown in. It reveals a little bit of the history of unicycles and also dabbles in impossible wheels and even giraffes. A very good book
