Has anyone ever noticed that if the Spice Girls just sang Halliwell's hits, they would have kept going indefinitely? Not only is this a point to ponder, the bad press surrounding Halliwell's ability to co-write songs and effectively sing should be dispelled with this marvelous track. Funny thing is, not only is this catchy, I don't think anything released by a major record label since Kylie Minogue's "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" has the power to hypnotise an entire continent. Funnier thing is, the track starts out a little like her debut single, "Look At Me," which may turn listeners off if it weren't for that dirty bass line that kicks in 5 seconds later. And what an infectious chorus, "You're a dj, I'm a song, Take me out and turn me on." This is an incredible song and gives further proof that the fun and zest that the Spice Girls promised, but never fulfilled, still encircle Halliwell.
