this book is a god send. i lost 2 1/2 stones in a little over 4 months. i've tried most diets, but found this one by far the easiest to stick to. normal food, just eat good stuff and not the bad stuff (it's not rocket science!). it's laid out in an easy to follow traffic light system too. i'd recommend this to anyone struggling with other fad diets. it just works. brilliant.

I have been on every diet available - they all work for a few weeks but are not healthy and you just pile the pounds back on. They are also complicated ie. different colour days, point counting, calorie counting etc.

This book is brilliant - I read it on the train a month ago and have already lost 6lb. It is easy to use, fits into a handbag(!) and is practical. The receipes are ok but as usual they are not practical after a day at work. However, you can adapt this diet to any lifestyle and the results really do happen.

I am three stone over weight and love wine and chocolate and have no will power. This book IS DIFFERENT and it does work - I don't miss any of the old foods

The book is full of quick, easy, enjoyable meals. My husband is also joining me on the GI diet, but is totally unaware of this as the food is SO good!! I can really recommend this book.

The GI Diet is not a diet as you know it. I lost 5 1/2 stone in 7 months by following Rick Gallops GI principles. Provided you eat "green" foods (veggies, brown bread, fruit, pulses, lean meat etc)and skip the "red" (cheese sarnies, crisps, sweets etc) you will do it too!! Amazing- you don't feel at all hungry, and it's such a motivation to step on the scales each week and see you've lost 4-5 pounds. Never before have i stuck to a diet,but this is so easy! Buy this book and you wont be disapppointed.

I needed a book on G I Dieting as my weight was creeping upto due to contentment.
I loved the fact that the recipes are simple to follow, and extremely quick to make!
If you feel you need a fast meal, then use this book. Extremely simple to follow AND no expensive food products to buy.

I bought this book on recommendation from a personal trainer and we have recently started our first week following a menu just to try and I have to say all the meals I have made or my girls have made have been very tasty and well received. The great thing is when you are eating well such as having the snacks built into the day there is no space for other snacking....I am encouraging the family to keep eating even when not hungry as the whole point of it is to keep your stomach busy which prevents you reaching for the stuff you shouldn't....after a week I'm not actually missing anything yet - I stopped in front chocolate yesterday and thought to have anything I liked but genuinely was not interested!
I can recommend this book I really can, I have lost a couple of pounds already and look forward to losing more!then maintaining a healthy lifestyle and eating well for ever..
