Great book, Richard Scarry as good as he always was. The pictures are colourful and the text clear. All the characters of the Scarry books also in here so there is continuity between all the editions, even one we still have from 1974. Amazon service excellent, book received promply and in perfect condition.

I remembered Richard Scarry books from my own childhood and thought I'd buy this and another title for my little 3 year old son. It didn't disappoint. A lovely hard back book full of intricate illustrations that can be poured over and studied for hours. Very good value. Highly recommended

This book is nothing like Richard Scarry's classic output of the 1960s and 1970s. The drawings are crude in comparison to What Do People Do All Day or Cars and Trucks and Things That Go for example, and the text is dull. If Richard Scarry actually did write and illustrate this book he really wasn't trying very hard. Very disappointing although my four year old son likes it anyway, hence two stars not one.

Another Richard Scarry classic
My 2 year old loves Richard Scarry books and this has good stories and the usual detailed illustrations. I would say it would suit 2 to 5 year olds.

Lowly worm
Delightful. I bought this as a present for my 3 yr old nephew. Richard Scarry never disappoints, lovely illustrations and stories. I think he will enjoy as much as my 5yr old does.
