This is one of the few cast albums to contain ALL of the songs, including the ones missing from the movie soundtrack. Plus it contains all of the dialogue. Some people find this tedious after a while, but at least all of the dialogue parts are at the end of the musical numbers, so you can just hit skip to forward to the next actual song.
The low point of this disc is clearly Tim McInnerny's singing (if you can call it that) as Frank. He just doesn't have the voice or the energy one expects of a good Frank. It could be worse though, and his speaking voice in the dialogue bits is good enough that he doesn't detract much from the whole album overall. For this reason I give this album four stars. Had this album been recorded with Anthony Stewart Head it would have clearly rated a full five stars.
If you're going to get a live cast album you should definitely pick this one over any of the other non-original cast ones, especially the ones from Showtime, Curtain Call, and Tring.
Overall, you wont miss out if you dont get it, but its always nice to have!
