I am a consultant, author, change leader and programme manager. I help organisations develop sustainable capabilities to deliver projects and change. I specialise in shaping / mobilising complex changes and programmes.
How would I describe my writing? I try to be clear, comprehensive, enjoyable to read and value adding. My approach to a book is to attempt to make the complex straightforward and understandable. We should not avoid complexity - but complexity does not have to be explained in complex ways.
I bring together a wide range of ideas in my books and synthesise them into a coherent whole. Sources include my experience, the experience of other managers and consultants, but I also apply lessons from topics such as behavioural economics, history and philosophy. However, I always focus on practicality and usability.
I have written books for a range of audiences. From novices to those studying MBAs, from junior managers to executives, and from those facing challenges for the first time to experienced managers looking for a few tips. Irrespective of your experience level and seniority you will find a book to suit.
I split my time between running my consulting company Enixus, writing, running workshops, studying philosophy, and spending as much time as possible in wild and mountainous places. I work internationally, but when I'm at home I live in the Cotswolds, UK.
