His book , 'Stale Bread', is a guide to narrative preaching, and the 'Preacher's A to Z', is a preacher's companion on the craft and practice of preaching.His latest book 'Who Needs Words', is a comprehensive handbook for Christian communicators. Richard is a regular contributor to Pause for Thought on BBC Radio 2 and a tutor with the College of Preachers . Last year he broke a publishing record when his book "The Littlest Star" was written, illustrated, designed, printed and placed on sale within three weeks in aid of the Shooting Star Chase children's hospices. The book has since visited book fairs in three countries and featured on national and regional BBC radio.
