My name is actually Richard La Ruina, a lot of people think it's a pen name, but it's not. I didn't mean to write a book. I started out as a single lonely 25 year old, and started on a journey to fix my social life and most importantly, my love life. I learnt a lot and decided to begin teaching. I came up with course materials and amassed quite a large amount of written material. One day, a guy who I was training said I should publish a book, and that he had the connections to make it happen. I started writing and it flowed very quickly, it was the same material that I was teaching each day when I trained people. I went with some friends to Iceland on holiday, and it was sooo cold that I just stayed in the house most of the time and was able to write most of the book in just a few days.
