Great books. Dough is perfect for the beginner while Crust is aimed at the more advanced baker. Well produced, good instruction and the accompanying DVDs changed how I make bread for ever.

Dough probably will get more use than Crust as a basic manual, but bought as a set and as time allows, looking forward to working through the recipes. The basic bread recipe and kneading technique featured on the DVD is readily available via YouTube but nice to have it to hand - the most confidence boosting and useful element to what Bertinet has to show us in my opinion.

I really like Bertinet's techniques and have made some fantastic loaves so far (even if I say so myself...) The dvd really helps to demonstrate how the dough should be and how to handle it.

These were for my sister as I already had them. Richards recipes are very good and always give give good results as long as you do not play with the quantities of ingredients.
