In her day job Ms Rianne C. ten Veen is a humanitarian aidworker (with additional task of being organisation's Environmental Focal Point). Outside her day job, she focuses on faith & environment projects: she is a member of the management team of Islamic Foundation for Ecology & Environment Sciences (IFEES), member of Steering Groups of 'Engage' (a CSV Environment project) and 'Faith and Climate Change' (a Birmingham Friends of the Earth project; this project was a finalist in NESTA's Big Green Challenge and won The Guardian's Community Hero award) and the Environment lead on the Committee of the Birmingham Council of Faiths.
