Product Description

Proven effective relief from snoring, sinus infections and high levels of catarrh. Rhynil spray is made entirely from a natural herb: Euphrasia Officinalis: commonly known as Eyebright. The formulation of Rhynil was originally proposed by a member of the Institute of Medical Herbalists in 1992 and was introduced as Snore Calm Herbal Spray. Due to its astringent properties, this herbal spray is used to treat snoring caused by 'palatal flutter'. Rhynil is applied to both the nose and the roof of the mouth. It is a stronger formula than the original Snore Calm Herbal Spray. Because Rhynil also has antiseptic and anti-bacterial properties it is very useful in countering infectious conditions in the sinuses and nasal passages and is extremely effective in reducing catarrh. The single action ingredient in Rhynil also has other unique properties which have a long history of treating inflammatory conditions such as allergic rhinitis. Common household items such as feather pillows, house dust mite, pet hair, perfumes, cosmetics, fabric softeners, air fresheners and insect sprays are all known to cause allergic rhinitis. The anti-inflammatory properties of Rhynil reduce the inflammation in the nasal airway and improve nasal breathing. Rhynil is particularly safe to use with no known adverse effects. In fact, the properties of this spray are so safe that the leaves of the Eyebright plant are added to salads. Rhynil contains 35ml. Ingredients: euphrasia tincture, water, citric acid, disodium orthophosphate & potassium sorbate. The bottle dispenses approximately 350 sprays, enough for 4 weeks' treatment.

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of money 11 Oct 2011
By Mr Man
Do not buy this product, it does very little but sting your nose. I read all the info on it on the British Snoring & Sleep Apnoea Association website, followed their instructions for diagnosing your snoring cause and was excited to think I'd finally found a solution to stopping my girlfriend jabbing me in the ribs throughout the night each time I started my bear like snoring. I read some mixed reviews of Rhynil but decided it had to be worth a try, they couldn't all be fake success stories. Alas, I was extremely dissapointed with this product. When you spray it up your nose and mouth it's not unbearable but nor is it pleasant but that would be worth enduring so we could then both enjoy a good nights sleep, the trouble is, it does mildly reduce snoring for about 5/10 minutes and then you can feel it wearing off and it's right back to full on snoring.

I also discovered when I looked into it that the British Snoring & Sleep Apnoea Association are the very people who manufacture this product so really the whole website seems to me to just be a set up to add plausability to this useless product.

In short, don't buy it, it won't do any good.

This product seems to have either one star or five star reviews with nothing in between, so it's obviously working for some - and thankfully I am one of them! My boyfriend's snoring could not be escaped in our flat, and drove me insane - I hunted out all the shop-bought remedies I could find (strips/sprays etc) and nothing worked. Found this online in summer 2010 and he's been using it to great success ever since. I've noticed it's more effective when he sleeps on his side rather than his back - just a tip for anyone out there experiencing problems. Sometimes he still needs the odd poke in the ribs if he's snoring mildly, but that's usually down to the quantity of red wine he has been drinking! Worth buying for sure.

4.0 out of 5 stars Does work to an extent 8 Jun 2011
I have been buying this for a few months now and it has lessened my husbands foghorn snoring significantly. It seems to lose some of it's potency over longterm use though. At first it stopped the snoring all together but now it's more like it has muted the snoring. I'll still be buying it though.

its hard to say whether any product of this type is wholly effective. all i can say is that it reduced the volume a fair bit. have had surgery now, so hope never to again. but be warned, the surgery is blooming painful.

4.0 out of 5 stars Peace at last 10 Jan 2010
By Liz
I have to say this is the best snore spray on the market, but unfortunately, not available in shops only online. My husband had a dreadful snoring problem, but since using this, we now both have restful sleep. The only reason for giving it 4 stars and not 5 is that sometimes it doesn't work all night long, so I have to wake him up to take some more and that does the trick. If you want a peaceful night sleep, then do buy this it really works.

3.0 out of 5 stars effective means to reduce snoring ? 6 Feb 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase
I have tried many remedies over the years, including all the usual sprays, both prescription and non- prescription. Rhynil is non- prescription, which tells you something..... It's completely harmless. In fact I bet you could pour the whole bottle up your nostril in one go, without any ill effects. That's how harmless it is.

It's not particularly cheap, though. If you used it all the time it would cost you over 170 pounds per year. But it does appear to do something. Although it didn't stop my snoring it did in fact, gently clear my sinuses and REDUCE snoring. I'd rather use this that some of the more aggressive nasal sprays which can be bought over the counter from normal chemists.

There is also one big advantage to buying this via Amazon, as opposed to buying it direct from the British Snoring and Sleep Apnoea foundation.... Amazon don't bombard you with spam emails, which was my experience when I previously bought anti- snoring products direct.

Give it a try..... if you are a snorer you'll try anything -and this product will , I assure you, do you no harm whatsoever.
