Product Description

Imported from Japan. Made by Kaiyodo.Pocco takes the leap from her 2D cover illustration on the Sweet Dreams: Shunya Yamashita's Works book to her 3D debut as this superbly detailed and highly articulated Fraulein Revoltech action figure! Standing 15cm tall, Pocco features 20 movable points of articulation for a wide variety of creative action poses. She comes with her sword, four optional hands, and a figure display base. Not to be missed!Pocco is part of Kaiyodo's Fraulein (the German word for "young lady") Revoltech toy line, which features monthly releases of approximately 6-inch tall, Revoltech-jointed action figures of female characters from popular anime titles and illustrators. The brainchild of master sculptor Tomohide Enoki, this toy line's figures utilize the innovative "E.L.F." joint system coupled with Revoltech joints and can be set in a diverse range of lifelike poses.

Well sculpted, but fragile and hard to pose. 7 Nov 2008

Fun-
Pocco is well articulated, but she's designed to be displayed; not played with. As such, most of her joints are hidden in unusual places which can make posing tough. Once I saw how all the parts are designed to work, it was easier to get her into some nice poses. Pocco's design, sculpt, and paint are all very well done. Her face is expressionless, but very cute. Pocco comes with a sword, three sets of hands (open, closed, and gripping) and a basic, but useful stand.

Durability-
Pocco is notorious for falling apart at the joints. I must have gotten lucky because I haven't had such problems. The only issue I've had is that the peg of her left wing is loose and it's easily pulled out. Be very gentle with her to avoid any problems.

Conclusion-
Pocco is a fragile figure with a very nice design and sculpt. I can only recommend her if you like her enough to look past the high possibility of breakages.

So-so build, not as good as compared to other Revoltechs... 6 Sep 2008

Now, don't get me wrong, I don't think it has anything to do with the seller, which has shipped the product to me promptly and arrived in original packaging and in pristine condition. HOWEVER, the product itself seems a little shoddy in terms of craftsmanship. I have a Revoltech VF-1S, also which I purchased elsewhere, and am using it for comparison. This Fraulein model is very finely detailed, as with all Revoltech's products, but the fitment of the pieces do not seem to be of quality construction. The shoulders do not hold as well nor do the arms. The pieces, if not handled properly, will fall off. I do not play with my models/figures, but I do like to position them every once in a while.

All in all, I am satisfied but yet it leaves me wishing for better...this could be an isolated piece and others may be better...

Good collector item 17 May 2010

Big time collector of Action Figures of all sorts. The toy is great and detailed, Although playable is not an option. Just to pose the figure you have to hold the arms in place or it pops off. I like to showcase some of my action figure. This particular one needs a velvet rope and a sign to do not touch or the arms are sure to just fall off.
