This book is powerful. The poems in the book, written by Leanord Ravenhill himself, are incredible, and worth buying the book if only for that reason. I think this was his last book before going home to be with the Lord.

I consider Leonard Ravenhill to be my spiritual grandfather. He discipled most of the men who discipled me. To say that Bro. Len was outspoken on the subjects of prayer and revival would be a gross understatement. Much more than writing on the subject, he was a man of much prayer. Pick up this book today, or any book he's written for that matter, and get ready to be challenged and convicted!

A Wake Up Call To The Sleeping Church 23 Jun. 2008
By Seeking Disciple - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Brother Leonard Ravenhill's powerful writing will stir your heart to seek God for revival like never before. In this book, REVIVAL GOD'S WAY, you will learn not only that we need revival and that revival only comes as we turn our eyes away from sin and the world (1 John 2:15-17) and we turn to Jesus in passionate praying.

For those who feel that they are weak in prayer, this book will challenge you to take serious the words of Scripture that call us to pray such as Matthew 6:5-9; Mark 11:22-24; Luke 11:1-13; 18:1-8; John 14:12-14; Acts 2:42; Romans 12:12; Ephesians 6:18; Philippians 4:6-7; Colossians 4:2-6; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Hebrews 4:14-16; James 5:16-17; 1 John 5:14-15; Revelation 5:8. You will see how prayer can break the chains of sin and bring us into a powerful relationship with Almighty God. You will see how prayerlessness is a sin (1 Samuel 12:23) and that the Lord moves on those who seek His face (Isaiah 55:6).

Truly this book is a great book and a timeless challenge to the Church. So many modern churches have turned away from the Word of God to embrace postmodernism, technology, and money but how we need the Church to shake off this slumber and embrace her true calling to preach Christ and seek His holy presence. How we need desperate people who are hungry for God.

Revival God's Way a treasure 18 July 2008
By Mary Lou Gastin - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This is such a timely subject even though the author is no longer with us.
Leonard Ravenhill was a man filled with God given wisdom that will always be timely.

I highly recommend this book to anyone serious about his or her faith, the future of the church and their country. Grab ahold of this message while their is still time.

Certainly this book is a classic of the faith.

A Passionate Call to Pray for Revival 20 Jan. 2006
By Seeking Disciple - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Brother Leonard Ravenhill didn't just write books on prayer or revival. He passionately pursued them. He was a man with a humble but earnest desire to see God pour out His Spirit on all flesh (Acts 2:17). His books are more of what he lived then what he wrote.

In this work, REVIVAL GOD'S WAY, Leonard Ravenhill challenges the reader to seek revival but seek it God's way. In our age of instant gratification, Ravenhill shows us that true revival will come only to the broken, humble, and waiting servant of God. God answers in His timing and not our own.

This is a wonderful classic and should be read by every true disciple of Jesus.
