Bought this about a year a go and realised very quickly my sensitive skin wasn't suited to it ! It dried it out badly and made fine lines and wrinkles worse. I also tried 5% and had same problem! I was maybe, in hindsight a little heavy handed n didn't use a moisturiser after - I thought it may lessen effect!! I spotted it on dark spots and obviously it burn my skin but did get rid of them! I wouldn't recommend this though! Anyway I try it now n again over a yr or so and every time my skin was dried n yukky after so I just left it!
I decided to try again with it, and after much googling and trial n error discovered how how I can use this cream with great results.
My forehead can tolerate 10% 2-3 times a week, rest of face maybe once a wk, but 5% works better 2-3 times a week - on clean skin aft shower at night - leave it 1/2 hr or so then smother with virgin coconut oil. This works a dream n has finally got my sensitive dry skin in check - my nose area has always been extremely oily n spotty but this combo seems to clear all that.
The combination of raw coconut oil with the glycolic has made a real difference to the dryness, oiliness and overall skin tone n texture so am really pleased I stuck with it as initially it was pretty crap! I am sun sentiment anyway n you really need to be aware to keep out of sun while using or use a high factor if in sun - cannot stress this enough - sun will burn your face if you have used glycoic!
Apologises for the long ramble - but if you have sensitive skin, try starting with 5% before the 10% and apply coconut. Oil after -it works for oily skin too !
