It's still a very useful book, but beware the fact that the GCSE syllabus has changed, again, so this edition is now out of date. The new edition can be identified by a yellow triangle (top RH corner) which says 'New Specifications'.

This study guide is excellent as it contains exam board label on each section so you learn only what your specific board needs and this helps cut down your revision time.
It also contains key points that highlight the essential information for you making it easy to make your own notes
There are also questions this helps update you on your progress.
The book contains how science works sections which is essential sor your exam.
I only used this textbook for my GCSE and got an A* soo I highly recommmend this book.
