I'm doing the new syllabus for A-Level Chemistry and this revision guide is excellent! It summarises everything needed to do well in the exam, although it will only work effectively alongide Chemical Ideas and Chemical Storylines (the other books offered by the Salters course). It even does a good job of summarising all the organic reactions that you need to know (they pop up in exam questions, and you just HAVE to know them off by heart). Each section doesn't take too long to revise and the "Quick Check" questions are a great way to monitor your progress. I used this revision guide (as well as the other books) and got an A in AS-Level Chemistry!

Would highly recommend, it cuts down on the waffle and gets straight to the point. 5 stars.

I am about to do my first AS module in January and I was really struggling with Chemistry before I got this. I already had the CGP revision guide but it wasn't helping much. My friend showed me this one so i bought it and i am actually understanding the topics. It could do with a couple more examples but the Quick Check Questions after every little topic are incredibly helpful and useful! It is definately worth getting :)

This book includes storylines and chemical ideas in one. It's very helpful and includes all the different chemical ideas for each chapter. I have noticed that the book doesn't go too in-depth in some areas so only using this book for revision will most definitely be a mistake as this is not what the book is for.

I would recommend going through this book along with the chemical ideas and storylines book. Using this book as a guide may be more helpful.

It's a great revision guide and the price is fair too.
