A really good colouful guide to AS Biology,

I found this really helpful in structuring my revision. Its set out in topic areas and therfore really easy to follow. Easy to understand diagrams made it really easy to understand difficult concepts. It also covers most exam boards and gives you a check list at the front so you know what you've revised and what you need to do.There are also tips about exam techniques. Overall a really good guide to help with your revision.

When I took up As Biology, I really struggled with it. I was never that good a science student, but i found this book helped tremendosly. I used it as a study aid as well as a revision book, so it helped me with my coursework and my exams.I got a B in GCSE Science, but was predicted and E. And at AS Level I was expected to get a D, but I came out with an A. I think that really speaks for itself. Mainly, this book is clearly set out, easy to follow and it the bare facts without pages of rambles! 10/10
