I'm a real tv series buff and it's hard to impress me. This show is definately one of the best in years. Just when you think you know what's going on - bam !! here comes the next surprise. The writing and the story is excellent. The cast is wonderful and they managed to find actors where you can feel for the characters and very quickly get attached to them ( in compariosn I've watched 7 seasons of CSI NY now and I couldn't care less if one of the main characters died... they never once managed to get a connection with the audience). The idea of showing the season ending in the beginning of the first episode and then you think you know what's gonna happen but you really don't is a brilliant one never seen before. I just can't wait for season three especially to see what happens to one of my favorites Nolan Ross... If you love suspense, thrill, character-driven shows then this is a must buy !!!

This is one cracker of a TV series - Im not normally into american programmes but this one had me gripped from the start and to be honest i was getting impatient for the next episode.
Emily/ amandas father is killed in a plane crash and her mission in life is to seek Revenge that caused him and her grief and pain. It is set around the Hampsons house - a very wealthy family with links to her father - but how? Watch on to find out. Season one seems to focus on one person Emily wants revenge on but then the storyline twists and turns and things are not as they seem, much more in depth than it originally looks.
Season 3 has only gone and got better too so you need to buy that as well!

I saw this on Amazon. Never heard of it before, but decided to buy based on all the positive reviews.
It is quite different from what I had imagined and you have to concentrate to keep up with the action but now I really love it.
Other than Emily Van Camp, who I saw in Brothers & Sisters, I have never heard of any of the actors [Oh just a minute - William Devane of Knots Landing fame played a guest role in series One - he is so good would like to have seen more of him but am only up to episode 2 of Series 2, so who knows] Anyway they are all so good in their parts - glad I took a chance on this one. Will buy Series 3 when available.

I don't have a TV, and most of the time I am more than happy that this is the case. This is almost worth getting a TV for, but fortunately I have a nice big monitor I can hook up to my laptop. Phew. It does mean I have had to wait until Revenge is out on DVD, but they say it is a dish best served cold.
The Count of Monte Cristo is an acknowledged classic, and this doesn't let it down. In fact there isn't really anything in the two seasons worth that I have watched that lets any of the rest of it down - the sustained quality of this series is seriously impressive. A big thank you to everybody involved; writers, directors, producers, FX, sound, cameras, lights, grips, costume, make-up, props, catering, everybody. Oh yeah, the cast as well.
If there were three things as good as this on TV in a year, I would hock my principles and buy one. Sadly the chances of that are slim.

One of the best shows I've watched in years! Once you watch one episode you will be hooked. I am not going to say anything about the story line, just buy it and see for yourself, you won't be disappointed!!
