About the Author
Anne Dunlop grew up in rural Ireland. She escaped and flew long haul as an airstewardess to exotic international destinations. Then she settled in Africa with her builder husband, where they had four children in three and a half years. Anne is currently living in the Middle East and her new hobby is writing escapist novels.

I was actually quite disappointed with this book, I just didn't feel the same connection with the characters as I did in the previous books about the Gordon family, especially Sarah, she just seemed to be a totally new character all together. I think maybe because it was published by Little Black Dress and not Poolbeg as the previous books where also made a difference as they renamed Sandra Flemming to the more glamorous Alexandra and I would have loved to hear more about Jennifer, Laura and Auntie. Plus not enough info about Helen and Richard, just dump Elizabeth and be done with it! So basically I really think Anne Dunlop should write another one to tie up a few loose ends and to give Helen a happy ending!

the story is set in a small farming village/town in northern ireland and sarah ia one of the local teachers. she was engaged to ian but decided he wasnt for her. not really interested in men local posh boy rupert catches her eye. story wasnt that interesting and didnt spark any interest in what all the other characters were doing. the character alexandra was just so annoying its a wonder she found anyone to get her pregnant.

Oh dear - I was so thrilled when I realised there was another book about the Gordon sisters. I read the first three, one after the other and found them so witty and yet poignant in parts. So the shock to find a completely different style of writing, and updated time wise was too much.I only finished the book to find out what happenend Helen and was disappointed in that as well. I will keep and reread the first three books but not this one!
