This is a very simple little diet book, which is easy to follow. It does not have any expensive food items or longer detailed menues. It can get a little boring but if you need a quick and easy diet, to lose a few pounds then this is the one for you!

I bought this because I wanted to lose some baby weight and had read about it in a magazine article.

However, only about a third (or less) of the book actually contains any recipes or food suggestions. The bulk of it gives you advice on raising your self-esteem together with some excercies. Like most diet books, you HAVE to follow the fitness regime as well as sticking religiously to the eating plan and in this diet the food is less than inspiring, based on eating a prescribed amount of dairy calcium per day based on the theory that this can help you shift fat from the abdominal area. Cue loads of raw veg, cottage cheese and tomato juice for lunch and natural yoghurt and nuts twice a day. Also, many of the main meals serve 4 people - I'm afraid that for me this was no use as my family would rather have had their eyes poked out with sharp sticks than eat the food in this book!

I got fed up with this after about a week and the book has lain on the shelf ever since.
